The Department of Ophthalmology is the sole provider of eye care to Jersey, expanding its staff and facilities. The postholder will work within the Eye Department, handling outpatient management of common eye conditions and assisting with intravitreal injections and post‑operative clinics.
Essentially, candidates should have a Primary Medical Degree with GMC licence, MRCOphth/FRCOphth or equivalent, and NHS UK experience, plus leadership and teaching capability for a busy island service.
