This role is advertised for 4 sessions a week.
Ideal candidates will be GPs who will hold the appropriate qualification. The successful candidate will require effective communication, clinical and problem-solving skills and be self-motivated. Within this position you will be required to demonstrate reliable clinical reasoning and have a positive enthusiastic approach to working within our multi-disciplinary team. Deliver against all GMS requirements.
Main duties of the job:- Undertake consultations with a range of patients as an autonomous practitioner taking a history, carrying out physical examination, and using clinical knowledge and judgement to identify potential diagnosis.
- Utilise clinical knowledge and experience to provide competent care to meet the health and social care needs of patients.
- Ensure all treatment provided is based on evidence and best practice.
- Assist in clinical audit and the setting and monitoring of service standards.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient consultations using appropriate clinical software.
