About the Role

Research Analyst in the Intelligence team, focused on monitoring global security developments, analysing complex information, and producing clear, accurate alerts for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor a wide range of sources for breaking global security incidents and operational disruptions.
  • Research and analyse developments that may impact clients worldwide.
  • Produce timely, accurate, and actionable alerts in line with internal reporting thresholds.
  • Track upcoming events that may require proactive intelligence coverage.
  • Review, update, and occasionally author country content for the online risk platforms.
  • Work closely with Intelligence Analysts and Security Coordinators to support live client cases.
  • Build understanding of client footprints and operations to proactively engage during relevant incidents.
  • Identify significant or unusual security events that require escalation and inform the wider operations team.
  • Provide ongoing written updates during crises or extended security situations.
  • Support delivery of the Critical Watch travel tracking service when required.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving the quality, consistency, and usability of the risk intelligence platform.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across the business to continuously improve outputs.

Required Criteria

  • Interest in International Relations, Politics, Security Studies, History or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent writing ability.

Desired Criteria

  • Experience of international travel.
  • Relevant internships in government, international bodies, NGOs, corporate security.
  • Capability in additional languages.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience) in International Relations, Politics, or a related field.
