About The Role
We are recruiting an experienced nurse to join our Government team in a dynamic, diverse and fulfilling role. Our Nurse-led team, which includes doctors, coordinators and administrators, look after overseas-based government employees and their families from a medical perspective. This role offers a unique opportunity for nurses to transition from clinical settings to a UK office-based position while continuing to apply their nursing expertise.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine medical case management activities prioritizing patient well-being
- Provide medical advice and recommendations via direct communication channels
- Liaise with international medical professionals for treatment coordination
- Assess medical reports and write referrals for appropriate care
- Evaluate standards of care and advise on fitness to fly
- Conduct pre-travel assessments and provide overseas medical planning advice
- Collaborate with medical and non-medical staff to develop safe medical plans
- Arrange medical evacuations and repatriations
- Potentially act as a medical escort during international repatriations
- Participate in quality improvement projects
About You
- Registered General Nurse with a current NMC pin
- Experience in clinical case management is advantageous
- Experience in primary care, acute care, cruise ship nursing, military nursing, public health/travel health, or humanitarian work
- Ability to identify critical issues and escalate appropriately
- Ability to work under pressure with empathy
- Excellent communication skills in English
