Healix Group is recruiting an International Customer Service Coordinator (Assistant Coordinator) to join our Medical Assistance Team based in Esher, Surrey, UK. This role will provide 24/7 medical and travel assistance to customers worldwide, arranging local treatment, air ambulances, and commercial flights with qualified medical escorts.
About The Role
As an Assistance Coordinator, you will deliver excellent customer service in a fast‑paced, diverse team. You will support customers in medical emergencies anywhere in the world, guiding them through appropriate processes and coordinating care plans, including local treatment arrangements and air or commercial flight facilitation.
What We Are Looking For
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passionate about customer service, adaptable and empathetic.
- Resourceful problem solver who can work under pressure.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Additional languages (French, Italian or Spanish) are an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience of working within the travel insurance arena is an advantage.
- Ability to build relationships quickly, responding respectfully and positively to members’ needs.
Required Criteria
- Teamwork.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Early, middle and late shifts, Monday to Sunday, including Bank Holidays.
- English language, both verbal and written, to a native standard.
- Ability to commute to the Esher office.
Desired Criteria
- Additional foreign languages.
- Experience of working within the travel insurance business.
