Key Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in our multidisciplinary team to support and develop diagnostic pathways for neurodevelopmental and mental health services.
- Provide expert psychiatric consultations and participate in detailed case analyses, focusing on clients with complex and coexisting conditions.
- Contribute clinical expertise to enhance treatment plans and therapeutic approaches tailored to individual patient needs.
- Contribute to our prescribing service through the provision of clinical expertise, supervision, and attendance at our Medicines Safety Group.
- Facilitate the continuous professional development of our clinical staff by providing insights and knowledge on psychiatric care in a multidisciplinary context.
- Engage in ongoing training and development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in psychiatry relevant to our services.
What you need to have:
- Medical degree with a specialisation in psychiatry and able to work with both children and adults.
- Valid registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and permission to practice with both adults and children.
- Demonstrated experience in psychiatry within multidisciplinary healthcare settings, especially in diagnosing and treating complex cases.
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and the highest standards of safeguarding for adults and children.
- Ability to promote collaborative teamwork.
- Adaptable to providing remote healthcare services, aligning with our commitment to accessibility and innovation.
- Flexibility to support our mission of bringing healthcare to anyone, anytime, anywhere.
- A commitment to ethical practice and adherence to the highest standards of safeguarding of adults/children.
- Aptitude for clinical governance, as well as passion for continued quality assurance and improvement of services.
- BUPA accreditation or be willing to go through this process.
- Registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) or willing to go through this process.
