REMUNERATION:
- Salary Band – £60,000 to £62,000 depending on experience with children, adults, ADOS, ADI-r and ADHD
- Optional sessions – earn on average an extra £5,000 per annum

As a Specialist Neurodevelopment Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in our Neurodevelopment team providing high quality diagnostic assessments as well as in some areas, offering post-diagnostic support to help children, adults and their families understand their diagnosis. Depending on experience, your primary responsibilities will include;
- Conducting triage calls
- Undertaking core needs assessments
- Undertaking extended core needs assessments
- Undertaking diagnostic observations (ADOS)
- Undertaking development assessments
- Attendance at MDTs
- Actively managing clinical risks, including identifying, reporting, and mitigating potential issues that may arise during your assessments.
- Ensuring that all clinical documentation meets regulatory and organisational standards for compliance.
- If required, providing post-assessment support, e.g. feedback
You will have the opportunity to work across all service lines (NHS, Melios, Bupa) and we provide the appropriate clinicians with Bupa accreditation. If required, we will supply training to ensure you can undertake assessments for under 7\’s and adults during your onboarding.
What you need to have
- Clinical qualification in:
- Occupational Therapy
- Psychology (Clinical, Counselling or Forensic) or
- Mental Health/Learning Disability Nursing
- Child or Adult Nursing
- Social Work (Children/Adult & Families/Mental Health)
- Speech and Language Therapy
- Peadiatrician
- Clinical registration with HCPC, SWE, GMC or NMC
- Must be ADOS and ADI-R trained and experienced
- Minimum of 1 years experience of conducting diagnostic assessments using ADOS and ADI-R
