POSITION: Psychologist, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician (Autism and ADHD Assessments)
REQUIREMENT: To provide high quality Autism and ADHD assessments for children
AVAILABILITY: Open to part time and full time, employed or consultancy options available
LOCATION: Hereford/Worcester - the number of days in Hereford/Worcester likely to be 1-3 days per week with some flexibility
REMUNERATION: Competitive, depending on experience
In this role you will be responsible for delivering Autism and ADHD assessments services for children at our on-site facilities in Hereford and Worcester.
What you need to have:
- Clinical registration with HCPC or full GMC registration with a licence to practise in the UK/on the GMC Specialist Register in Paediatrics or Community Child Health
- Demonstrable expertise in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD
- Familiarity with autism diagnostic frameworks (e.g. DSM-5, ICD-11)
- Experience in ADHD assessment and management
- An excellent understanding of ADHD presentation
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic team
- Awareness and adherence to NICE guidelines for autism and ADHD assessments
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to ethical, evidence-based care
- Trained in standardised tools (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R)
- Experience writing comprehensive diagnostic reports
PRE-EMPLOYMENT CHECKS:
You will need an Enhanced (Child & Adult Workforce) DBS certificate registered with the DBS update service. You will be asked to provide two professional references as a minimum and a professional registration check will be conducted. You will also be required to confirm details of supervision aligned to the standards outlined by your professional regulatory body.
