Responsibilities
  • Deliver gold‑standard autism assessments.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary diagnostic team.
  • Use diagnostic frameworks (DSM‑5, ICD‑11).
  • Adhere to NICE guidelines.
  • Write comprehensive diagnostic reports.
  • Assist in ADHD assessments.
Qualifications
  • Clinical registration with HCPC or full GMC registration with a licence to practise in the UK/on the GMC Specialist Register in Paediatrics or Community Child Health.
  • Demonstrable expertise in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Familiarity with autism diagnostic frameworks (e.g., DSM‑5, ICD‑11).
  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic team.
  • Awareness and adherence to NICE guidelines for autism assessments.
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to ethical, evidence‑based care.
  • Trained in standardised tools (e.g., ADOS‑2, ADI‑R).
  • Experience writing comprehensive diagnostic reports.
  • Experience in ADHD assessments.
