Responsibilities- Deliver gold‑standard autism assessments.
- Work within a multidisciplinary diagnostic team.
- Use diagnostic frameworks (DSM‑5, ICD‑11).
- Adhere to NICE guidelines.
- Write comprehensive diagnostic reports.
- Assist in ADHD assessments.
- Clinical registration with HCPC or full GMC registration with a licence to practise in the UK/on the GMC Specialist Register in Paediatrics or Community Child Health.
- Demonstrable expertise in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Familiarity with autism diagnostic frameworks (e.g., DSM‑5, ICD‑11).
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic team.
- Awareness and adherence to NICE guidelines for autism assessments.
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to ethical, evidence‑based care.
- Trained in standardised tools (e.g., ADOS‑2, ADI‑R).
- Experience writing comprehensive diagnostic reports.
- Experience in ADHD assessments.
