As Associate Clinical Lead you will play a pivotal role in our Neurodevelopmental Associate (ADHD) teams supporting Associate clinicians with your clinical expertise on cases, MDT’s, WIP, safeguarding, clinical enquiries and helping improve clinical quality. You’ll work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to interview Associate Clinicians, support clinical onboarding, lead welcome calls, and undertake quality checks and assurance and competence sign off. You’ll also be responsible for ongoing monitoring of clinical compliance, case management, KPIs and quality, escalating themes and trends to the Clinical Operations Manager, Heads of, and other key stakeholders.
A key component of this role is to foster a strong community of practice across the service, ensuring consistent clinical coverage, shared learning, and alignment in how we deliver care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinician to work with other clinicians to help Healios deliver our services to our clients in an exciting role that combines your clinical expertise, organisational and leadership skills. You’ll hold your own case load (as required) and will provide sickness absence cover as needed.
What you need to have:
- Qualified Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, Speech & Language Therapist, Social Worker, Learning Disabilities Nurse or registered Nurse (Adult/Child)
- Extensive experience in delivering ADHD assessments and appropriate training in diagnostic experience including observation and histories for ADHD (DIVA5, Conners)
- Overseeing high-quality client care and upholding clinical standards across the Associate network.
Clinical Expertise:
- Your responsibilities include providing support and guidance to our Associate clinicians.
- You will carry your own, smaller, clinical caseload and provide sickness cover as required.
- Leading the clinical aspects of hiring and onboarding new Associates.
- Carrying out QC audits as appropriate to support clinicians and provide feedback coaching.
Consultations:
- Carry out consultations with complex cases as and when required to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.
- A commitment to adhering to local and national policies, including NICE guidelines, and cultivating a culture of ongoing enhancement in clinical practice, reducing unwarranted variation and elevating quality.
- You will demonstrate skills in consultation and collaboration with others across the clinical teams and functions.
- Ability to work autonomously with clear timelines and accountability.
- Direct engagement with clinicians to ensure client-centric practices aligned with policies and guidelines.
