Based in Leeds LS18 4TJ, Healing Touch Rehab Ltd is a private company established since November 2013. Our Director and Owner, Kay Ganguly, has over 23 years’ experience as a Neurological Physiotherapist (specialising in paediatrics). Healing Touch Rehab works with children offering assessments, recommendations, and treatment for a wide range of needs. Our therapists work alongside schools, families, case managers, and other educational settings.
Part-time and full-time applications will be considered (minimum 2 days a week).
Main Responsibilities:- Hold your own caseload, providing occupational therapy assessments and treatment for clients with conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, head injuries, spinal injuries, muscular dystrophy, developmental delay, DCD, autism, sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, fine motor and perceptual difficulties.
- Provide specialist equipment and adaptation assessments and recommendations as required.
- Work in settings including schools, other education settings, clinics, children’s homes, or the wider community.
- Receive full administrative support from a dedicated admin and client liaison team.
- Be HCPC registered.
- Work as part of a friendly team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehab assistants, and sports therapists.
- Carry out assessments and reports with clients and their families.
- Collaborate with clients and families to develop bespoke treatment programmes with a “the sky's the limit!” approach.
- Work closely with other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team.
- Engage in regular supervision and CPD opportunities.
- Participate in networking events and receive annual appraisals.
- Receive proactive support for future development and training.
- You will be a dynamic and approachable individual.
- You will be HCPC registered and keep up to date with CPD.
- You will have experience or a keen interest in Neurology.
- You will be passionate about OT and your clients.
- You will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- You will be willing and able to supervise junior team members.
