As we scale from one market to many — and from e-commerce to a technology platform — Financial Control has to move at the same pace as the rest of the business, across every entity, brand, and geography we operate in. We're hiring a Senior Finance Manager – Financial Control to act as No.2 to our Financial Controller, owning the day-to-day accuracy, discipline, and commercial edge of our finance operations as Healf scales toward £1bn.

Core responsibilities
  • Management Accounts & Monthly Close - Own the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely management accounts across all group entities, geographies, and DTC brands.
  • Revenue Reporting - Own the revenue reporting process, including the timely completion of the sales to revenue, cash to revenue, sales to cash and deferred revenue reconciliations.
  • Multi-Entity & International Financial Control - Own day-to-day Financial Control operations across a multi-entity, international group structure.
  • Transaction Processing (AP & AR) - Own AP and AR operations across the group, ensuring timely invoice processing, collections, payment runs, and reconciliations.
  • Working Capital & Cash Discipline - Own day-to-day working capital management, including payables, receivables, and operational cash drivers.
  • DTC Brand & Incubator Support - Provide hands-on finance support to DTC incubator brands.
  • OPEX & CAPEX Business Partnering - Partner with functional and brand directors on OPEX and CAPEX planning, reporting, and control.
  • Regular Reporting & Commercial Finance Interface - Own recurring financial reporting outputs used by Commercial Finance and the wider business.
  • Systems-First Financial Control - Apply a systems-first mindset to Financial Control operations.
  • Team Leadership & Development - Lead and develop the Financial Control operations team.
What Success Looks Like
  • Management accounts are delivered on time and accurately across all entities, geographies, and brands.
  • Working capital performance improves through better payment terms, collections, and cash discipline.
  • OPEX and CAPEX spend is planned, tracked, and actively managed in partnership with directors.
  • DTC incubator brands receive effective finance support without weakening group controls.
  • AP and AR operations are efficient, well-controlled, and increasingly automated.
  • Commercial Finance receives timely, consistent inputs to support confident commercial decision-making.
  • Financial Control operations scale with growth without a proportional increase in manual effort.
  • The Financial Controller can focus on systems, audit, and strategic priorities.
Past Experience
  • Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Big 4 (or top-10) trained, with several years' subsequent experience in an e-commerce or retail business.
  • Strong experience in Financial Control operations within a multi-entity and/or international business.
  • Proven ownership of management accounts, month-end close, and balance sheet control.
  • Experience driving improvements in working capital, payment terms, and cash management.
  • Experience partnering at C-Suite level on OPEX and CAPEX planning and control.
  • Experience managing AP and AR processes at scale.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with evolving systems and processes.
  • Experience working closely with Commercial Finance, systems, and data teams to deliver reliable reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, set standards, and drive continuous improvement.
