Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm is a family-run, open all year-round visitor attraction and home to the thriving production house of the famous Rattler Cyder! Since the company was founded in 1980, Healeys has grown exponentially, with listings across large supermarket chains such as Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Asda and Morrisons, in addition to our regional and national wholesale partners. With a multi-faceted production facility specialising in a range of products from ciders, wines, preserves and spirits, our business is not only an exciting place to visit and shop but a great place to work.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become our Multi Skilled Engineer, where you will be responsible for the continuous operation of the electrical and mechanical assets of the Healeys.

Salary: Up to £42,000 per year

The key deliveries for this role are:

  • Maintenance and upkeep of company vessels.
  • Prioritising own work and arranging delegation of all jobs relating to effective planned maintenance and all DIY and maintenance of the main house, Little Falmouth.
  • Building a strong network of service providers; ensuring providers and costs approved by the Healeys.
  • Producing, in collaboration with the Chairman, and working to: annual, monthly and weekly to-do lists as agreed with the Healeys.
  • Overseeing projects as directed by the Chairman or the Healeys.
  • Being receptive to completing tasks which may fall outside your role or remit with a positive attitude.
  • Being open and honest in all communication with the Healeys.
  • Able to keep business and personal matters of the Healeys confidential.

Experience:

  • In depth working knowledge of boats and their maintenance.
  • Knowledge of mechanics and electrics - machinery.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Engineering, electrical and mechanical skills.

Skills Required:

  • Attention to detail, flexible and accommodating.
  • Honest and trustworthy.
