The Role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our growing team, covering London and the South of England. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of our security systems. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service and that our systems operate at optimal.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain physical security products
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely
- Perform planned preventive maintenance and servicing
- Respond to service call-outs and resolve technical issues on-site
- Provide excellent customer support and maintain strong client relationships
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Work independently in the field, while collaborating with the wider team
Skills & Experience
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Technical aptitude with an interest in engineering
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Flexible approach to working hours and travel
Industry experience is not essential – full training will be provided.
Requirements
- 5 days in 6 working (Monday to Saturday)
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel across your regional area
- Ability to pass a background check
- Comfortable working on-site in varied environments
- Based in or within reasonable commuting distance of London / South of England
- Out of hours on-call rota
