Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for a Job Coach based in Guildford, with opportunities for remote work. The Job Coach will provide personalised support and guidance to individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injuries, helping them develop skills for independent living and employment. Daily responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments
- Designing personalised action plans
- Assisting with job applications
- Offering encouragement and feedback
- Liaising with employers to facilitate adjustments
- Collaborating with team members, families, and carers to ensure well‑rounded support for clients
Qualifications
- Experience in client support and coaching, particularly in working with individuals with disabilities or brain injuries
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with clients, families, and employers
- Ability to conduct assessments, design personalised action plans, and provide constructive feedback
- Understanding of employment processes and workplace accommodations for individuals with disabilities
- Organisational and time‑management abilities to coordinate schedules and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with cognitive rehabilitation practices and resources is an advantage
- Proficiency in using basic computer software and communication tools
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to supporting individuals in achieving their goals
