Salary:
- Unqualified: Base salary of £27,866.34, earning up to £33,447.67 with sleep-in shifts
- Qualified: Base salary of £29,181.57, earning up to £34,762.90 with sleep-in shifts

About the Role:
Based in one of our children's residential homes, you'll support young people with challenging behaviour, requiring flexibility, resilience, honesty and strong organisational skills. You'll be committed to delivering high-quality care that helps each young person achieve positive outcomes. This is a permanent role with great career prospects and full training within a growing organisation. You'll work an average of 38 hours per week on a two days on / four days off shift pattern, including two sleep-ins. You'll also receive generous allowances for bank holidays, overtime and a performance-related bonus.
Essential Skills:
- A full UK manual driving licence
- The ability to work independently with accuracy and maintain clear, organised records
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive team-player approach
- Ability to complete daily records to statutory and policy standards
- An empathetic, patient and supportive approach
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to engage, motivate and encourage young people
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with young people
- A relevant Level 3 Children & Young People qualification, or willingness to work towards one, which will be fully funded by the employer
