Chef and Catering Coordinator (Part-Time)

We’re looking for a passionate and organised Chef and Catering Coordinator to work in a busy kitchen serving up to 50 residents daily in our homeless hostel. This is more than just a cooking job – it’s a chance to empower people, build community, and make a real difference. We are looking for 22 – 28 hours per week (negotiable) and Two weekends out of four to be included within those hours Key Responsibilities: * Help Plan and prepare budget-friendly, nutritious meals using seasonal ingredients * Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment * Assist with food sourcing, stock, and kitchen budgeting * Deliver in-house cooking and life skills training to residents * Assist and develop our Kitchen Assistant Training Programme * Organise community-building meals and events like BBQs and themed dinners We’re looking for someone who: * Has experience working within a kitchen and working within a budget * Is passionate about food, community, and social impact * Can inspire and support people on their journey to independence * Is a strong role model with a focus on inclusion and empowerment Join us to help improve confidence, independence, and employment prospects for people affected by homelessness
