We are looking for a creative social media and content coordinator to join the Headstock Group team. Reporting directly to the marketing manager, you will assist with the creation, scheduling, and publishing of engaging and on‑brand content for both Laney Amplification and HH Audio. The role requires a strong understanding of both B2B and B2C audiences, including how content, messaging, and tone of voice should adapt for each.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn for both Laney and HH Audio.
- Support the development of the social media planner in line with brand campaigns, product launches, and industry events.
- Create high‑quality content across multiple formats, including video, photography, written copy, graphics, web, social media, PR, and email marketing.
- In collaboration with the wider team, work with the roster of Laney artists to produce fun, engaging content that showcases their work and connects authentically with our audience; and develop equivalent content for HH Audio that resonates with distributors, dealers, and system integrators. This may require travelling outside of contracted hours.
- Proactively monitor and bring fun new content ideas and platform trends to the table.
- Monitor and engage with comments, messages, and mentions across all channels in a timely and brand‑appropriate manner.
- Research trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms to identify opportunities for content and audience growth.
- Track and report on social media performance metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis, using platform analytics and scheduling tools. Contribute to wider digital reporting by pulling website data from GA4 to provide context alongside campaign performance.
- Support the planning, build, and performance tracking of email marketing campaigns via Mailchimp, including audience segmentation, send scheduling, and reporting.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and marketing strategy.
Experience
- A creative eye for content, with the confidence to bring new ideas forward
- A proactive mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- Flexible, reliable, and motivated to contribute to a growing team.
- A genuine interest and understanding of social media platforms and current trends.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to write compelling, brand‑appropriate copy.
- Hands‑on experience creating content for social media, with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Comfort with social media analytics platforms (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social) is essential.
- Organised with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with paid social advertising is a bonus but not required.
- An interest in music, audio gear, or the broader MI industry. Product knowledge can be learned on the job, but genuine enthusiasm will help you create more authentic content and engage more naturally with our audiences.
- An understanding of the key differences between B2C and B2B audiences, including how content, tone, and platform use differ when speaking to end users versus trade consumers such as dealers, distributors, and installers.
Additional Requirements
- Strong IT literacy to include MS Office.
- Competent writing skills and numeracy, supported by Maths and English qualifications to a minimum of Grade C/4 at GCSE level or equivalent.
- UK resident.
Package
- Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
- 33 days holidays including statutory days and bank holidays.
- A flexible approach to working hours, where possible.
- A staff discount scheme on our catalogue of products.
- An Employee Assistance Programme, offering support across a range of areas.
