You'll still look after the purchase ledger, so invoices, supplier reconciliations, payments and price variances aren't disappearing completely. But alongside that, you'll be getting involved in management accounts, journals, budgets, forecasts, bank reconciliations and stock. You'll report to the Finance Director and work as part of a small finance team, which means you'll get exposure to quite a lot. Because this is a manufacturing company, you need to have worked in manufacturing before. They're specifically looking for somebody who understands the finance side of a business that makes and holds physical stock. Maintaining the purchase ledger Assisting with monthly management accounts and transactional analysis Helping with annual budgets and quarterly forecasts Bank reconciliations Processing petty cash and credit cards Helping with ERP system queries Covering other areas of finance when needed AAT Level 3 as a minimum Previous finance experience within manufacturing (essential) Good Excel skills Comfortable with Microsoft Office You won't be expected to arrive knowing how to do all of it, but you do need the manufacturing experience and at least AAT Level 3 - they can help you develop the rest.
