We're partnering with a growing independent accountancy practice in East Yorkshire that has built an excellent reputation through referrals, exceptional client service, and organic growth. Following a sustained period of expansion, they're looking to appoint a Client Manager to help manage an increasing workload and support the development of junior team members. This is a key hire for the business and offers significant long-term progression potential.

The Role

  • You’ll take ownership of an established portfolio of clients while supporting the wider team and helping drive the next phase of growth.
  • Accounts Preparation: Preparing and reviewing accounts through to finalisation
  • Tax Compliance: Personal and corporate tax work across a varied client base
  • Management Accounts: Producing management information and supporting clients with financial reporting
  • Client Management: Acting as a trusted adviser and primary point of contact
  • Team Development: Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
  • Advisory Exposure: Broad exposure across different areas of practice including trusts and estates work

This is a varied role that offers genuine autonomy and the opportunity to become a key part of the firm's future.

What We’re Looking For

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Strong all-round accountancy practice background
  • Experience preparing accounts through to finalisation
  • Comfortable managing client relationships independently
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Desire to progress and take on increasing responsibility
  • Trusts and estates experience beneficial but not essential
