The finance function here needs someone to step in and influence. With the business continuing to grow, there's a need for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day, tighten up reporting, and give the Finance Director the space to focus on the bigger picture. It's a broad role with plenty of scope - and the opportunity to make it your own. You’ll step into a hands‑on position with responsibility for the core finance processes, alongside the chance to improve how things are done.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly management accounts and reporting cycle
- Improve the accuracy, clarity and timeliness of reporting
- Manage cashflow, forecasting and budgeting
- Support operational teams with commercial insight
- Get close to WIP, revenue and project performance
- Strengthen processes, controls and general financial discipline
Over time, this could evolve into a broader Financial Controller‑style role, depending on your experience.
