The role:
As Finance Manager, you’ll run the transactional finance function end to end. You’ll be hands-on with the detail but visible across the wider business, working closely with internal stakeholders.
This is a great role if you enjoy variety, ownership, and being the "go-to" person for finance.
Your day to day will include:
- Full ownership of purchase and sales ledger
- Processing and coding supplier invoices accurately
- Raising sales invoices and maintaining clean records
- Supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution
- Managing payment runs and banking
- Bank reconciliations and daily banking responsibilities
- Building strong working relationships with suppliers and customers
- Monitoring aged debt, chasing overdue payments, and resolving invoice queries
- Corporate card reconciliations
- Maintaining supplier records and setting up new suppliers
- Completing payroll, adding and removing starters and leavers on the system
