You'll work closely with a wider finance team and support month-end activities, assist with financial reporting, contribute to process improvements, and gain exposure to multiple entities across the UK, Ireland and the US. Whether you're studying towards a finance qualification, have recently completed your studies, or are building on existing finance experience, this role offers genuine scope to broaden your skills and progress your career.

What you'll be doing:

  • Processing supplier invoices and maintaining supplier accounts
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving account queries
  • Preparing supplier payment runs
  • Setting up and maintaining supplier master data
  • Processing employee expenses and company credit card transactions
  • Supporting cashbook processing and bank postings
  • Supporting month-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments and journal entries
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Assisting with fixed asset accounting and intercompany transactions
  • Supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting
  • Preparing audit schedules and supporting external audit requirements
  • Assisting with VAT and compliance activities
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting strong financial controls

What do you need?

  • Previous experience within a finance or accounts role
  • A finance qualification in progress, completed studies, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
