The Role
You will step in as the go-to financial accountant, taking ownership of balance sheet integrity, audit readiness, and system-related clean-up work.
- Balance Sheet Clean-Up: Getting the December balance sheet into a strong position - reconciling, reviewing, and making the numbers make sense to an investor.

- Audit Support: Managing the auditor transition and looking after the audit process.
- Schedules & Support: Producing high-quality schedules to sit behind closing balances and statutory numbers.
- Systems & Projects: Supporting the go-live of a new system and dealing with ad-hoc project work as issues arise.
- Year Reset: Supporting a clean clear-down of 2025, ensuring the business starts the year on solid footing.
This is a practical, sleeves-rolled-up role, ideal for someone who enjoys getting into the weeds and fixing things properly, not just ticking boxes.

- Ideally qualified, though this can be flexible for the right level of hands-on experience.
You will be joining at a point where your work will really matter. The business is implementing a new system, changing auditors, and preparing for future growth. Getting the foundations right now is critical - and that’s exactly where this role comes in.
