Our retouching team is critical to delivering consistent, natural, high-quality results at scale. We are hiring experienced headshot retouchers for ongoing work who can handle high volume while maintaining realism, accuracy, and professional polish.

Role Overview

This role focuses on high-quality retouching of professional headshots sourced from mobile phone photos. You will work within established production standards to deliver natural, realistic results—preserving skin texture, correcting lighting issues, and ensuring consistency across batches.

Following a brief unpaid test project, selected candidates will be invited for an interview, with the opportunity for long-term, steady work.

Core Responsibilities

  • Retouch professional headshots from phone photos with a natural, realistic finish
  • Correct skin tone, noise, mixed lighting, exposure issues, and soft focus
  • Reduce or remove glasses glare while preserving realism
  • Perform background swaps and composites that look seamless and believable
  • Maintain consistency and quality across large batches of images

Production & Workflow Discipline

  • Deliver work on time and meet daily/weekly volume expectations
  • Follow established retouching guidelines and quality standards
  • Apply feedback consistently and efficiently
  • Communicate clearly if issues arise that could affect timelines or quality

Core Skills Required

  • Natural skin retouching (texture preserved; no plastic or over-processed look)
  • Clean hair masking and edge work (no halos)
  • Realistic background compositing
  • Strong color correction and exposure balancing, especially in uneven or mixed light
  • Excellent time management and consistency at scale
  • Strong written English (spoken English for occasional Zoom calls is a plus)
