Heads, a global CRO, is looking for a Business Development Officer based in UK to join its ever-growing global team.
The Business Development Officer supports the Business Development Director in identifying
new profitable business opportunities and has a key role in raising the Company’s brand and
profile.
This is a full-time position.
Key responsibilities:
- Supports the Business Development Director in all departmental activities
- Analyzes Clients’ feedback data to determine the way the company is perceived identify strategies for raising the Company’s brand and profile
- Provides insight in image development and competitive positioning
- Suggests market research to identify new opportunities for raising brand awareness, as week new
- Maintains the Company’s website
- Develops Company promotional material including, presentations, brochures, posters and other promotional marketing material including material for scientific events, etc.
- Attends professional conferences and events, as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- BSc in Business or Life Sciences
- 1 year work experience as a marketing officer or similar role
- Proven knowledge of the pharma and biotech market is desirable
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Knowledge of any other language will be an advantage
- Very good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritize tasks
- Result-oriented approach
- Willingness to travel
