We are looking for our Manager, Strategic Partnerships & Key Accounts. Reporting directly to the Vice President - Growth & Strategy, you will be a senior and key member of the team working to acquire and scale our strategic partners. This role involves identifying, developing, and managing high-value partnerships that drive revenue growth and enhance our market presence. Through your existing networks and by making new connections, you are also expected to become one of the faces of Headout in the travel industry.

What makes this role special?

  • Commercial partnership development. Own your acquisition pipeline to proactively expand the Headout distribution network with new strategic partners. Prioritise your actions based on the impact the qualified leads have on the bottom line and brand awareness.
  • Key account management. Manage and nurture relationships with key partners, build relationships based on mutual trust. Take the initiative to provide partners with the right tools to skyrocket their performance.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimisation. You’ll play a key role in monitoring partner performance and revenue generation. By analysing data and trends, you’ll develop strategic recommendations to enhance partner outcomes and drive additional revenue growth.
  • Collaborative Impact and Brand Building. Work closely with regional teams to drive not only revenue growth but also to amplify our brand presence. By leveraging strategic partnerships, you’ll enhance our brand awareness and solidify our positioning within the experiences industry.
  • 0→1 ownership, 1→∞ impact. The blocks of the partnership’s lifecycle are still being laid; you’ll define journey strategy, product inputs, and measurement - and then scale the wins.
  • Drive. Build senior relationships and leverage your existing network for the benefit of the company and your team, being the face and the voice of Headout within industry forums. Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate. You’ll work with a cross-functional team, including engineering, product, design, operations, finance, and marketing to build the distribution business.

What skills do you need?

  • Partnership Sales Experience. You come with 4-8 years of experience driving revenue growth through partnerships or B2B sales, ideally with mid-market or enterprise clients. Demonstrated ability to run full commercial cycles and close high-impact deals.
  • Value-Driven Deal Making. You can craft partnership proposals that create clear business value for both sides. Ability to translate partner needs into commercial opportunities and scalable solutions.
  • Go-to-Market Collaboration. You are comfortable working with product, supply, and marketing teams to bring partnerships to life, including integrations, content, and onboarding.
  • Pipeline Ownership. You have proven ability to qualify, prioritise, and progress leads through structured sales processes. Familiar with CRM hygiene, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Structured Problem Solving. You apply first principles thinking to design solutions in ambiguous contexts, especially in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments.
  • Curiosity and Competitive Awareness. You proactively gather insights on competitors, market dynamics, and partner needs. Translates learnings into differentiated opportunities for Headout.
  • You have experience scaling sales or business development function in a startup. You thrive in fast-changing environments, adjust quickly, and maintain focus when priorities shift. You really understand the market’s pulse.
