A leading technology solutions provider is seeking an Electronics / Systems Integration / Design / Project Engineer to join their Embedded Computing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke, high-performance electronic systems for customers across industrial and defence sectors.

The Role: You will support the delivery of custom embedded solutions from concept through to production, working closely with sales, suppliers, and technical partners. This is a hands-on engineering position, spanning system design, electronic circuit definition, testing, documentation, and customer-facing technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and integrate custom electronic and mechanical solutions
  • Support pre- and post-sales technical enquiries
  • Select components, oversee testing (EMC/environmental), and ensure compliance
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and design files
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers, test houses, and internal engineering teams

About You:

  • Degree/HND/HNC in Electronics or similar, with 3 years experience
  • Broad system and electronic design experience (PCB, BOMs, layouts)
  • Knowledge of mechanical integration and design processes
  • Familiar with EMC, CE marking, and civilian/military standards
  • Confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to manage multiple technical tasks
