Field Sales Engineer - Imaging - Field Based (UK) – Perm - £50-60K plus bonus and great bens

Are you a technically minded sales professional with experience in OEM cameras, imaging, machine vision or thermal imaging?

Looking to join a leading technology distributor representing world-class manufacturers across cutting-edge imaging solutions?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, international technology business with an outstanding reputation for delivering specialist solutions into markets including defence, scientific research, industrial automation, medical, security and advanced manufacturing.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts while identifying and developing new business across the UK.

You'll work closely with customers, suppliers and technical specialists to deliver innovative imaging solutions and play a key role in driving long-term business growth.

What you'll be doing

Developing new business and growing existing customer accounts.

Identifying and winning design-in opportunities for OEM imaging solutions.

Providing technical and commercial support throughout the sales cycle.

Building strong relationships with engineers, purchasing teams and senior decision makers.

Producing quotations, negotiating contracts and closing business.

Working alongside technical experts to deliver bespoke customer solutions.

Representing the business at customer visits, exhibitions and industry events.

Maintaining an active sales pipeline and CRM.

What we're looking for

Experience selling OEM cameras, thermal imaging, or scientific imaging products.

Strong knowledge of the imaging market and associated technologies.

A proven track record in technical B2B sales.

Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.

A technical qualification in Electronics, Physics, Engineering or a related discipline is highly desirable.

Full UK driving licence.
