A major infrastructure programme is looking for an experienced Senior Cost Controller to join a high-profile project team delivering complex, large-scale works. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced project environment and enjoys owning cost control, forecasting and performance reporting across major capital projects.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing project budgets, forecasts, accruals and Estimate at Completion (EAC)
- Producing detailed monthly cost and performance reporting
- Driving forecasting accuracy and cost analysis across the project lifecycle
- Working closely with contractors and external delivery partners
- Supporting change management, early warnings and compensation events under NEC contracts
- Collaborating with planning, risk and wider project controls teams
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in cost control on major infrastructure or engineering projects
- Excellent forecasting, reporting and analytical skills
- Knowledge of NEC contracts and change management processes
- Experience using cost management tools such as Prism or EcoSys
- Strong Excel capability and stakeholder management skills
- Professional accreditation (AACE, AcostE, AMP etc.) highly desirable
