Our client is a leading main contractor with a focus on large-scale high-rise developments across the North. They work on new build construction projects in the residential apartment, student accommodation and care home projects. With a solid regional footprint throughout the North, coupled with a consistent track record of delivering projects on time and to exacting standards, our client has earned a distinguished reputation for reliability and excellence.
They’re recruiting an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the North East. Working on projects in York, North Yorkshire, Teesside and up as far as Durham. You will assist with the drafting of all necessary documentation for procurement of subcontractors and suppliers and assist the SQS to ensure that other contributors for constituent parts provide their procurement information on time. While establishing and developing productive and professional working relationships with all stakeholders, you will contribute data to help monitor accurate cash flow and turnover forecasts.

Experience Required:
- Previous experience working for a main contractor on new build projects
- Previous experience as an AQS or QS on projects
- Previous experience working on projects in the residential sector
- BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying (desired)
