Manufacturing company in Leeds have a live requirement for a Warehouse Supervisor. This is a senior role in the warehouse operation where you’ll take the lead in ensuring department targets are met, as well as using your experience as a warehouse planner, warehouse manager or warehouse supervisor to assess current methods and procedures and devise and implement business improvements across the warehousing function. This is a new role for what is a growing, fast paced manufacturing company. You’ll be used to a deadline driven environment and have the experience to be able to implement real and meaningful change to the department.

About you:

  • Experience in a leadership role within Warehousing for a fast paced manufacturing organisation.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of ERP systems and other relevant software.
  • Able to assess current process and procedures, devise and implement improvements.
  • Team leadership and/or people management skills.
  • Commercial outlook, able to understand business needs and how to deliver.

Key Duties to include:

  • Ensuring the warehouse function meets the wider needs of the business – stock levels, delivery times, transport, efficiencies.
  • Developing and implementing effective procedures and strategies across the warehousing function.
  • Analysing and addressing areas of improvement.
  • Use of planning software, ERP to ensure maximum efficiencies.
  • Staff planning and leadership.
