Joinery Estimator

Headley have a live vacancy available with a leading and well established manufacturing company in Bradford who are now seeking an experienced Estimator.\\n\\nThis is a workshop based position with a joinery manufacturing company. They manufacture for a wide client base on a variety of projects, including both volume and bespoke manufacture.\\n\\nThe opportunity here is to join an established and well developed estimating department and to play the lead role in the production of accurate quotations for manufacture.\\n\\nKey duties to include:\\n\\n * Reviewing customer requirements to understand scope of manufacture\\n\\n * Calculating internal cost of production, materials, labour, time, machining requirements etc.\\n\\n * Liaising with 3rd party companies and material suppliers as required to secure best value and understand full costs of manufacture\\n\\n * Production of competitive quotations and completion of tender documents\\n\\nKey requirements:\\n\\n * Industry experience as an estimator in a manufacturing company involved in sectors such as interior fitout, shopfitting, furniture\\n\\n * Understanding of joinery manufacturing processes, machining requirements and appropriate materials.\\n\\n * Comfortable reading and interpreting technical documents and information.\\n\\n * Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills\\n\\n * Good attitude to work; committed and reliable\\n\\nThis is a decent opportunity with a well regarded and thriving business in the Bradford area.\\n\\nFull info available on application
