Headley have a role with a long established joinery manufacturing company in Bradford who have an immediate vacancy for an experienced Wood Machinist.
The company are renowned for the quality of their bespoke joinery manufacture and this role gives you chance to work on a wide range of projects as the company are increasingly busy into the new year.
Duties to include:
- Operate traditional wood working machinery to include, planer-thicknessers, spindle moulders, saws, cross cuts and other.
- Working from technical drawings to manufacture to accurate specifications.
- Selecting current tooling and machinery to use for the job at hand.
- Basic machine maintenance.
- Liaising with colleagues to ensure jobs are completed according to production schedules.
We are seeking candidates experienced in the joinery manufacturing industry.
Ideal, but not essential is a joinery/wood machining apprenticeship.
You will have operated a variety of traditional machines and be willing and able to learn others as required.
This is a full time, permanent job working Monday - Friday, no shifts, most often with overtime available.
