A rare opportunity to provide high level consultancy for major projects and significant clients alongside assisting the Head of Consultancy with developing a high-performing consultancy team.
We are looking for experienced consultants to assist with developing and rolling out strategy within the consultancy team in line with company direction and guidance from the Head of Consultancy.
You will also manage large portfolios of work for major infrastructure projects, have a proven record of developing clients and growing large projects that will both accommodate a range of consultants from across the team as well as leveraging work for other parts of the company. This will include considerable ability to integrate with new client teams and embed the company in very large scale projects both externally and through sister RSK organisations.

The Role
To assist the Director of the consultancy team with defining the strategic direction of the consultancy team’s development, management of the team and ensuring the quality of the technical outputs. Headland is a Registered Organisation with CIfA, and you must adhere to our systems and processes which are in line with CIfA Standards and Ethics.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Key Skills
- Degree in Archaeology or related subject
- Full driving licence
- Have experience of preparing EIA’s and being able to guide others to complete these
- Provide live client support throughout the delivery of their projects
- Have a sound understanding of the policy and legislative context for UK cultural heritage
- IT skills
Desirable Skills
- MCIfA (and/or full membership of IHBC)
- Post‑graduate qualification
- GIS
