Due to the continued growth of HeadHunters and of our flagship salon in Pontefract, we're looking for an enthusiastic, driven and people-focused Salon Manager to join our team!

We're looking for someone with a fun, outgoing personality who can lead by example, bring positive energy to the salon and take pride in maintaining the high standards HeadHunters is known for.
ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 3 years' hairdressing experience and a genuine understanding of the hair industry.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills, creating a welcoming first impression for every client.
- Be confident leading, motivating and supporting a large team.
- Take pride in their personal presentation and have a genuine interest in fashion, hair and beauty.
- Have strong sales skills and an enthusiasm for promoting our professional retail products.
- Be social media savvy, helping to promote the salon, engage with clients and grow our brand online.
- Understand the importance of salon targets and enjoy working with the team to achieve and exceed business goals.
- Be organised, proactive and confident managing multiple responsibilities.
- Be computer literate and comfortable using salon booking systems and other digital tools.
- Be passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience and maintaining high standards across every aspect of the salon.
YOUR ROLE
As Salon Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the salon, including:
- Managing appointments, bookings and client enquiries.
- Delivering an excellent client experience from arrival to departure.
- Leading, motivating and supporting the salon team.
- Managing stock levels, product ordering and retail presentation.
- Overseeing client payments, bills and end-of-day cashing up.
- Maintaining high standards of salon presentation, cleanliness and housekeeping.
- Supporting sales performance and helping the team achieve salon targets.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of front of house and coordinating the client journey.
- Supporting social media activity and helping to raise the salon's profile.
- Contributing ideas and initiatives to support the continued growth of the business.
