About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a publicly listed biotechnology company headquartered in China, with global operations across the US, Europe, and Asia. They are expanding their UK commercial team and looking for a Key Account Manager to cover London and Northern UK, focusing on industrial clients (pharma/biotech).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop business with industrial clients across the assigned territory
- Communication with clients on a technical level
- Conduct market and competitor analysis
- Attend industry conferences
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence
- Provide scientific training and presentations to customers
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Biological or Pharmaceutical Science (PhD a plus)
- Around 5 years of sales experience selling bio-reagents (proteins, antibodies, ELISA kits) to industrial clients (pharma/biotech) or academic research institutions
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Proven presentation and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility for business trips
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
