Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence Solicitor | 10+ PQE | Β£70kβΒ£75k | Hertfordshire
I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join an award-winning multi-service law firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor looking for a role where they can take ownership of their caseload, work with a high degree of autonomy and play an important role within a specialist PI & Clinical Negligence team.
The opportunity
35-hour working week
You will manage your own caseload from inception through to completion, dealing directly with clients, experts and other parties, advising on liability and quantum, progressing litigation and negotiating settlements.
The role would particularly suit someone who is self-motivated, commercially aware and comfortable driving your own cases forward with minimal supervision.
Why consider the role?
- Work directly alongside experienced PI & Clinical Negligence partners
- Support and supervise junior lawyers, trainees and apprentices
- High level of autonomy and responsibility
- Up to 2 days working from home
- 25 days' annual leave
- Life assurance x4 basic salary after 6 months
- Private healthcare after 3 years
- Employer pension contribution of 3%
- Parking available close to the office
The PI & Clinical Negligence department is split between contaminated blood compensation claims and non-blood PI/Clinical Negligence matters, with experienced support available across the team.
This is likely to appeal particularly to someone who has experience working within a smaller practice environment and enjoys having ownership of their work rather than being one of many fee earners within a large department.
