A well-established law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Litigation Solicitor (8–10 PQE) to join its busy and growing general litigation practice with flexible working. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, commercially minded solicitor who enjoys handling a broad and interesting caseload and who is looking for a role with genuine responsibility and autonomy.
The Role
You will manage your own varied caseload covering a wide range of contentious matters, including:
- Property litigation (including landlord & tenant and related disputes)
- Civil and commercial litigation
- Employment litigation, including Tribunal work
The role involves handling matters from initial instruction through to resolution, advising clients strategically and pragmatically, and representing them in negotiations, mediations, tribunals and court where appropriate. There will also be scope to support and mentor junior team members.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 8–10 years’ PQE
- Strong background in general litigation, with solid experience in property and civil/commercial disputes
- Employment litigation experience is highly desirable
- Able to manage a full caseload independently with minimal supervision
- Commercially aware, client-focused and confident dealing directly with clients
- Strong drafting, advocacy and organisational skills
