Competitive Salary, Flexible/Hybrid working. This opportunity would suit a general civil litigator who enjoys a broad and intellectually stimulating caseload and is looking to further develop their practice within a supportive and ambitious firm.

The Role

You will join a busy and respected Dispute Resolution team led by a senior Solicitor Advocate with judicial experience. The team handles a wide spectrum of general civil and commercial litigation, often involving complex and high-value matters, including cases progressing through the High Court. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload and contribute to larger, more complex disputes alongside colleagues. The caseload is varied and includes:

  • Commercial litigation, including contract disputes and unfair prejudice petitions
  • Property litigation, covering commercial landlord & tenant matters (arrears, dilapidations, forfeiture)
  • Real estate disputes such as boundary issues, easements and proprietary estoppel

Employment law experience would be advantageous but is not essential. While the firm has dedicated specialists in areas such as contested probate and personal injury, there are regular opportunities for dispute resolution lawyers to be involved in larger or more complex cases in these areas.

Candidate Profile

  • Ideally 4+ years’ PQE in dispute resolution / civil litigation
  • Candidates with 3 years’ PQE will be considered if they are highly capable and confidently running their own matters
  • Strong technical ability with a practical, client-focused approach
  • Commercially aware and interested in developing their practice
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team

This firm places real emphasis on helping its lawyers thrive and progress. There is genuine flexibility to shape your career path, including:

  • Structured business development planning
  • Investment in relevant training and accreditations
  • Exposure to high-quality, complex litigation work
