About the Role
We are working with an established London law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join its Civil Litigation Department.
This opportunity is ideal for a Solicitor with experience in Commercial Litigation, Debt Recovery, Insolvency or Civil Disputes looking to develop their career while gaining exposure to more complex and high-value litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of Civil and Commercial Litigation matters, including contractual disputes, debt recovery and enforcement.
- Handle banking and financial disputes, insolvency, civil fraud and asset recovery matters.
- Advise clients on litigation strategies, dispute resolution and settlement negotiations.
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, witness statements and court applications.
- Liaise with Counsel, attend hearings and undertake advocacy where appropriate.
- Handle commercial property disputes and cross-border litigation matters.
- Support junior team members and contribute to departmental growth and business development.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with experience in Civil or Commercial Litigation.
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court processes and case management.
- Experience handling contentious matters independently.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and client management skills.
- Property Litigation and publicly funded litigation experience would be advantageous.
