About the Opportunity:

A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced and ambitious Corporate Partner to join its London office. This is a unique opportunity to build & lead a department offering an excellent platform for growth.

The firm has a strong national presence, with a collaborative culture and a modern approach to legal services. This position would be ideal for an existing partner looking to make a strategic move, either as an individual or with a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow the firm’s Corporate practice in London, with a focus on M&A, private equity, and general corporate advisory work.
  • Manage and develop client relationships, both existing and new.
  • Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the firm’s strategic direction.
  • Work closely with partners across other practice areas to deliver integrated legal services.
  • Drive business development initiatives and contribute to thought leadership.

Key Requirements:

  • UK-qualified solicitor with a minimum of 10+ years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law.
  • Existing partner or strong legal director / counsel ready for partnership.
  • Strong track record of leading complex transactions and building client relationships.
  • A portable book of business is preferred, though not essential depending on strategic fit.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative approach.
