Typical deal sizes range from £5M to £50M across sectors including logistics, manufacturing, technology, and business services. We operate lean, high-performing teams.
As Corporate Finance Manager, you will lead the day-to-day execution of M&A and fundraising mandates, manage junior team members, and act as a key point of contact for clients and advisors. You will also support origination and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage M&A and fundraising processes from mandate through to completion
- Build and review financial models, valuations, and information memoranda
- Coordinate due diligence, Q&A, and data room activity
- Support negotiations and manage communication between buyers, sellers, and advisors
- Maintain day-to-day client relationships on active mandates
- Prepare pitch materials and proposals for new opportunities
- Support partners with business development meetings and networking
- Supervise and mentor analysts/associates on modelling and research
- Review junior work for accuracy and commercial logic
- Ensure all work meets internal standards and FCA compliance requirements
- 3-5 years experience in corporate finance, M&A, transaction services, or investment banking
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (DCF, multiples, LBO basics)
- Experience managing parts of a deal process and client communication
- Degree (2:1 or above) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Based in or commutable to Bristol office-based role (5 days/week)
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA (qualified or part-qualified)
- Experience with debt advisory, MBOs, or private equity processes
- £50,000 base salary
- Annual performance bonus linked to deal completions and origination
- Typical OTE bonus: £20,000 - £50,000
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
