Our client is a proven entrepreneur who has scaled and sold 3 Logistics business operating throughout the UK and Western Europe offering 3&4PL solutions allied to own fleet operations.
He has also offered warehousing up to 250,000 sq ft for pallet storage, cross docking, pick pack, re work, container de stuff.
All ambient.
He is looking for a Commercial Director business partner who wants an equity stake from day one in his next start up Logistics business.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who has direct contact with a healthy client base, past and present.
Ideally they would already have subcontracted many loads although not essential that's a big plus.
The individual would essentially head up this embryonic business with full financial and commercial support from the CEO at a base location of their choosing.
The principal area of logistics experience needed is preferably ambient and fresh and chilled is an option.
The FTL market would make up the core activity with LTL being ab inevitable part of that.
Groupage pallet networks all of the above entirely through 3/4P.
Understanding of storage and experience a definite bonus.
Have worked with some UK main blue chips preferred.
