The predicted salary is between 25000 - 35000 £ per year.
This is a key role within the Key Accounts Team to maintain excellent customer service for all of the Key Accounts allocated customers. You will be expected to be proactive in the role and maintain and develop business communication; close team working is key.
Accountabilities:
- Maintain consistent levels of accuracy in data records on all systems used in the role
- Maintain productivity at or above agreed levels
- Ensure all costs due to errors and those made but avoided are reported to the Operations Manager
- Work as a team to demonstrate excellence in all aspects of the team's overarching purpose: to provide consistent, excellent levels of service to external sales and our agents across the globe
- Demonstrate Freight Agency's core values at all times
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal with customer queries via telephone/email
- Monitor and maintain shared inbox
- Undertake customer bookings and input data into CargoWise and other systems
- Liaise with Customers, sub-contractors, Suppliers and agents
- Check and send customer documentation
- Produce bills of lading
- Provide bill of lading instructions
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required by the business
- Network and undertake research, where necessary, to keep ahead of competition
- Persuade customers our high service levels will satisfy their requirements in terms of quality, service and price
- Interpret and manage customer requirements speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs

Qualifications:
- A good level of education in Maths & English
- Industry-related qualifications as agreed with your line manager
- Previous experience of working in a commercial environment or in a similar position is required
- Experience of working in import/export freight forwarding would be a distinct advantage
