This is an exciting Finance Business Partner role giving you the opportunity to work with a great team in a sector where you will be benefiting the community.

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) works ‘in the business’ with responsibility to provide financial analysis and insight to help develop understanding of the financial performance of the department, challenge ingrained thinking and be a catalyst for change. Reporting to the Lead Financial Business Partner, this role uses financial expertise, a deep business knowledge of the issues and risks that could impact upon financial performance, and possess great communication and influencing skills to enable and support:

  • A departmental focus on identifying and mitigating future business risk.
  • Improved understanding of budget and actual spend compared to budget and actual outputs.
  • The development and provision of financial analysis (routine, ad hoc and deep dive) to enable departmental managers to assess the effectiveness of strategies employed to deliver corporate plan goals.
  • Identification and quantification of future opportunities and their effective and efficient prioritisation and delivery.
