We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join the UK Racketsports Team as a Promotions Co-ordinator. In this role you will be responsible for delivering the company’s sponsorship and promotional activities and programmes across Tennis, Squash, Padel and Pickleball, reporting directly into the Head of Marketing. This is a rare opportunity to join a small team where you will be required to play a hands-on role in supporting the Racketsports division. This position combines home working with regular travel, primarily across the South-East of England and London.
This role supports the delivery of promotional and marketing activities across multiple racketsports, working closely with the Head of Marketing and Sales Team:
- Collaborate with key retailers to create product-focused content ahead of launches.
- Introduce new consumers to products through promotional events driving engagement and sales with key retailers.
- Plan and execute product experience days in collaboration with brand partners.
- Coordinate with sponsored venues, organisations, leagues and associations.
- Support the delivery of coach sponsorship agreements and contracts.
- Create and capture engaging content for Team HEAD UK social media accounts and wider marketing communication.
- Work within a given budget and ensure targets are met.
- Assist in the setup and delivery of UK events.
- Support the Head of Marketing in the rollout of marketing materials both digital and instore.
- Identify up and coming talent as part of Team HEAD junior program in Tennis, Squash, Padel and Pickleball – attending tournaments throughout the year.
- Report into and support the Head of Marketing in the rollout of marketing material both digital and physical rollout to stores.
- Keep Sales Team informed and up to date with promotional plans.
- Support the Sales Team at presentations and demos as required.
Personal Specification Skills & Experience:
- Highly organised, confident and proactive with ability to take the initiative.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including some evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules. Occasional international travel may be required.
- Event experience and a university degree would be a bonus but not essential.
- You must be a competent Tennis player (ideally 4.2 rating equivalent 23 UTR approx. or better) or a qualified Level 3 Tennis coach, as you will be required to participate in on-court activities.
- Strong understanding of the Tennis & Padel competition structure for ITF, Tennis Europe and LTA, including ratings and rankings.
- Knowledge or playing experience in Squash, Padel and or Pickleball would be advantageous.
- Full clean UK driving licence is required for travel to events and for the transport of equipment.
- Willingness to learn about the company’s products and technologies.
- Strong interest in digital technologies and social media.
- Positive, hands-on attitude and a willingness to learn, ask questions and contribute to a team environment.
- Must be a UK resident and based within the required location.
