Position Overview

Ensures the implementation of the Head Start program by supporting families as they move towards self sufficiency by ensuring compliance in the areas of: Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read this position's full description
  • Utilize recruitment techniques to determine eligible children and to ensure full enrollment of assigned sites by implementing procedures in accordance with Performance Standards.
  • Participate in recruitment activities and community events with agencies and organizations that provide services to children and families.
  • Schedule and complete intake applications, determine eligibility, and complete full enrollments for Head Start Families.
  • Accurately complete enrollment documents using the data management system.
  • Ensure children's files contain the appropriate ERSEA documents.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Social Work or related field*. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • Bi-lingual preferred; Past experience in Social Services field is preferred.

Base Pay

  • $20.64 - $21.76

Hours & Location

  • Mon-Fri
    • Hours may vary, but should be similar to: Mon-Thurs [7:00am-4:30pm] & Fri [7:30am-11:30am]
