Head Resourcing are working with a global brand who are looking for a Senior Commercial Performance Manager to take ownership of how a global fleet of assets is planned, deployed and optimised. This is a key role in a large, international business where the decisions you make will directly impact performance, investment and how effectively assets are used across different regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the global fleet planning process, making sure there’s a clear view of what’s available, what needs moving, and where investment is required.
- Work closely with regional teams, procurement and manufacturing to spot risks early and keep things on track.
- Managing the Capex process - making sure proposals are well thought through, aligned to strategy and realistically deliverable.
- Overseeing asset movements globally, making sure short-term decisions don’t compromise longer-term plans.
- Looking at data utilisation, ageing equipment and underperforming assets to guide decisions on what to keep, move or retire.
- Leading and developing a small team, helping to build capability and consistency across the wider planning community.
What we’re looking for
- Someone with a background in demand planning, forecasting or operations planning.
- Comfortable working across different regions and time zones, and confident handling large, complex data sets (Excel and BI tools are a must).
- Strong stakeholder skills are important, this involves working with senior people and being able to challenge where needed.
- Leading from the front, develop others and bring a commercial mindset to decision-making.
