The Role
As an SAP BW Data Warehouse Analyst, you will support the full application lifecycle, from business analysis and solution design through to implementation, support, and continuous improvement.
You will play a key role in understanding business requirements, integrating data across applications, and ensuring the performance, security, and availability of data warehouse solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
- Support and maintain SAP BW data warehouse and reporting environments.
- Analyse business processes and capture requirements.
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support enhancements to existing applications and interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, data, and performance issues.
- Provide system support and preventative maintenance within agreed service levels.
- Ensure the integrity, availability, and security of data and systems.
- Develop and maintain technical and user documentation.
- Monitor support queues and change requests, ensuring timely resolution.
- Work with third-party vendors to deliver requirements and resolve issues.
- Support system implementation activities, including user training and post-deployment support.
- Participate in occasional travel to UK sites and partner locations when required.
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with
SAP Business Warehouse (BW) development and support.
- Solid ABAP programming knowledge.
- Experience with
SAP Net Weaver .
- Knowledge of
BW Dataflows (3. x and 7. x) .
- Experience with the
SAP Business Explorer (BEx) Toolset , including Query Designer and Web Analyzer.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, database design, and performance optimisation.
- Experience supporting business-critical enterprise applications within a large organisation.
- Knowledge of structured systems delivery methodologies.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, defence, or other complex operational sectors.
- Experience with
Redwood SAP Business Process Automation (formerly CPS Job Scheduler) .
